AI ALIGN — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AI Align website
(aialign.eu) and associated services, including the AI Readiness Assessment
tool and its API ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these
Terms.


1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
----------------------

The AI Readiness Assessment is a free tool provided by AI Align to help
individuals and organisations evaluate their readiness for AI adoption. The
tool collects responses to structured questions and generates a personalised
assessment report.


2. PERMITTED USE
----------------

The Service is provided for:

  • Individual self-assessment by organisations evaluating their own AI
    readiness
  • Internal use within your organisation for planning and decision-making
  • Personal educational purposes

You may share your own assessment report within your organisation or with
advisors assisting your organisation directly.


3. PROHIBITED USE
-----------------

The following uses are expressly prohibited:

  • Automated access: Using scripts, bots, scrapers, or any automated means
    to access the Service or generate reports
  • Commercial exploitation: Reselling, redistributing, or incorporating
    reports or methodology into commercial products or services
  • Bulk generation: Generating multiple reports for third parties, whether
    for commercial purposes or otherwise
  • Reverse engineering: Attempting to extract, replicate, or reverse
    engineer the assessment methodology, scoring algorithms, or report
    generation logic
  • Misrepresentation: Presenting AI Align reports or methodology as your
    own work, or removing copyright notices from reports
  • API abuse: Accessing the underlying API other than through the intended
    web interface, unless explicitly authorised in writing


4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The AI Readiness Assessment methodology, question framework, scoring system,
report templates, and generated report content are the intellectual property
of AI Align. All rights are reserved.

Reports are generated for your use under a limited, non-transferable,
non-exclusive licence for the purposes described in Section 2. This licence
does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.


5. DATA AND PRIVACY
-------------------

The Service is designed to be anonymous. We do not require registration or
collect personally identifiable information through the assessment tool.

Assessment responses are processed to generate your report. We may retain
anonymised, aggregated data for the purpose of improving the Service. No
individual assessment data is shared with third parties.


6. DISCLAIMERS
--------------

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or
implied.

Assessment reports are intended as a general guide to support internal
discussion and planning. They do not constitute professional advice —
legal, regulatory, technical, or otherwise.

AI Align makes no representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, or
suitability of reports for any particular purpose. Organisations should seek
qualified professional advice for specific regulatory, compliance, or
technical matters.


7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Align shall not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any
loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.


8. ENFORCEMENT
--------------

AI Align reserves the right to:

  • Rate-limit or block access to the Service at our discretion
  • Pursue appropriate legal remedies for violation of these Terms
  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice


9. MODIFICATIONS
----------------

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service
after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
